INVITATION TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for the construction of MORNINGSTAR DEVELOPMENT OFF-SITE SANITARY SEWER LINE (WELCH ENGINEERING) and SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION TO SERVE WALSH RANCH, PHASE 2 (HALFF) will be received by FG Aledo Development LLC on behalf of MORNINGSTAR RANCH MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT Nos. 1 and 2 of Parker County (MUDs). Bids shall be delivered to: City of Fort Worth Infrastructure Design and Construction Group, Attn: Patrick Buckley, PE Transportation & Public Works Department 1000 Throckmorton Street, 1st Floor South Fort Worth, Texas 76102 Bids may be delivered until 1:30 pm, CST, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and bids will be publicly read aloud at 2:00 pm, CST, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in the Water Administration Conference Room, Room 225, of City Hall. The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: Projects entail approx. 12,000 LF of 30 Sanitary Sewer Line, 870 LF of 24 Sanitary Sewer Line and 1,500 LF of 21 Sanitary Sewer Line all by Open Cut and associated appurtenances. The improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in the Section 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS of the Contract Documents. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashiers check or a bid bond from a surety company holding a permit in the State of Texas for an amount not less than 5% of the amount bid. The amount of said cashiers check or bond will be forfeited to the MUDs and the bank or surety shall be liable to the MUDs for the amount in event the successful bidder fail or refuse to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required within ten (10) days after the date of notice of award.
