NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF THE TOWN OF ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA The residents and taxpayers of the Town of Zionsville, Indiana (the "Town"), are hereby notified that the Town Council of the Town will hold a public hearing at 7:30 a.m. on June 18, 2018, in the Council Chambers Room 105 of the Zionsville Town Hall, located at 1100 West Oak Street, Zionsville, Indiana, on the matter of appropriating the proceeds, and any investment earnings thereon, of the Town of Zionsville, Indiana General Obligation Bond, Series 2018C, to be issued in an amount not to exceed $2,265,000 (the "2018C Bonds"). The proceeds of the 2018C Bonds will be used to pay the costs of (a) the preliminary engineering, design, land acquisition, utility relocation, construction and construction inspection as well as all necessary activities to construct a new, single-lane modern roundabout with landscaping, lighting, multi-use pathway, enclosed and open drainage systems, and utility conduit(s) at the intersection of CR. 875 E. and Whitestown Road/CR 500 S in the Town, and projects related thereto, (b) capitalized interest on the 2018C Bonds, if necessary, and (c) the costs incurred in connection with the issuance and sale of the 2018C Bonds and all incidental expenses therewith, including the cost of any credit enhancement with respect thereto, if necessary. The 2018C Bonds shall have a final maturity of no later than July 15, 2038, and shall bear interest at a rate or rates not exceeding six percent (6.00%) per annum. The Bonds are general obligations of the Town, payable from ad valorem property taxes on all taxable property within the Town. Said appropriation is in addition to any appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy. At said public hearing, all persons shall have the right to appear and be heard on the necessity of said appropriation.
