NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED OF ADOPTION AND CONTENT OF RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF WHITESTOWN, INDIANA AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION Taxpayers of the Town of Whitestown, Indiana ("Town") and all other persons affected hereby are notified that the Town Council of the Town ("Council"), at a meeting held on June 13, 2018, adopted Resolution 2018-32 (the "Declaratory Resolution") enlarging the economic revitalization area designated as the "Whitestown Fishback Creek ERA #1" (the "Original Area") to add Parcel No. 0180213001 to the Original Area (such additional parcel, herein the "Additional Area"). The Additional Area is located on the far western boundary of the Original Area. Descriptions of the Original Area and the Additional Area, along with the Declaratory Resolution, are available and can be inspected in the offices of the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town and the Boone County Assessor. The Declaratory Resolution adds the Additional Area to the Original Area as an "economic revitalization area" for real and personal property tax abatement pursuant to Indiana Code 6-1.1-12.1, as amended. The Council will conduct a public hearing to receive and hear remonstrances and objections to the action taken in the Declaratory Resolution at a hearing to be held on July 11, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Whitestown Municipal Complex-Public Hall, located at 6210 Veterans Drive, Whitestown, Indiana. Written remonstrances to the Declaratory Resolution should be filed with the Council on or before July 11, 2018. Interested persons must file a written remonstrance with the Council in order to have a right to appeal the Council's determination regarding designating the Additional Area as an economic revitalization area included in the Original Area.
