NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED BY ADOPTION AND CONTENT OF RESOLUTION OF THE LEBANON REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given to the Lebanon Redevelopment District (the "District") and all other persons affected hereby that the Lebanon Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"), on May 14, 2018, adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 2018-07 (the "Declaratory Resolution") making certain proposed amendments to the declaratory resolution and economic development plan ("Plan") for the Consolidated Lebanon Economic Development Area ("Consolidated Economic Development Area") (such amendments, the "2018 Amendments"). The 2018 Amendments (1) incorporate into the Plan certain new projects to be funded under the Plan ("2018 Plan Supplement"), and (2) remove a portion of the "2017 Allocation Area" located within the Consolidated Economic Development Area, and designate such portion as a separate allocation area within the Consolidated Economic Development Area to be known as the "Gateway Marketplace Allocation Area" ("Allocation Area"). The District will use incremental real property taxes levied and collected in the Gateway Marketplace Allocation Area in accordance with Indiana Code 36-7-14 and 36-7-25 to finance certain public improvements and to pay debt service on obligations which may be issued to finance the improvements. The Declaratory Resolution, the 2018 Plan Supplement and supporting data, including maps and plats, have been prepared and can be inspected at the Office of the Redevelopment Department, in the City of Lebanon, Indiana. The Commission will conduct a public hearing on July 9, 2018, at the hour of 6:30 p.m., at the Lebanon Municipal Building, Assembly Room, 401 South Meridian Street, Lebanon, Indiana, to receive and hear remonstrations from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the Declaratory Resolution and 2018 Plan Supplement and will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed 2018 Plan Supplement. At the public hearing, or at any time prior thereto, any person interested in the proceedings may file a written remonstrance with the Secretary of the Commission. At the public hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and all remonstrance that have been filed. After considering this evidence, the Commission will take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Declaratory Resolution. A copy of this notice has been filed with the agencies, boards and any other departments, bodies, or officers of the City of Lebanon, Indiana having to do with planning, variances from zoning ordinances, land use, or the issuance of building permits.
