NOTICE OF COUNTY COUNCIL HEARING TO INCUR INDEBTEDNESS TO THE TAXPAYERS OF CASS COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1 Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Cass County Fire District #1, of Cass County, Indiana, that on July 20, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., the Cass County Council will meet at the Cass County Government Building at 200 Court Park, Room 200, Logansport, Indiana, to discuss approving the recommendation of the Cass County Fire District #1 Board of Trustees to incur indebtedness in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the purchase of two (2) fire trucks. Taxpayers have the right to be heard. A determination of whether or not to approve the borrowing of the maximum amount of loan may be made at this hearing. If a determination is made, a notice will be published pursuant to statute.
