AND HORNADAY ROAD Notice is hereby given that the Town of Brownsburg will conduct a public information meeting in regard to the proposed intersection improvement project at County Road 300 N. and Hornaday Road (Co. Rd. 800 E.). The meeting will be held at Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Council Meeting Room located at 61 N. Green Street, Brownsburg, IN 46112. The purpose of the meeting is to offer all interested persons an opportunity to review and comment on the current design plans for the proposed intersection reconstruction project. The proposed project is identified by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) as Des. No. 1401646. The proposed intersection improvement includes the construction of a single lane roundabout with work extending approximately 200 feet along the north leg (Hornaday Road), approximately 400 feet along the east leg (CR 300N), and approximately 300 feet along the south (Hornaday Road) and west (CR 300N) legs. A drainage detention basin is also planned in Southeast quadrant of the intersection. The intersection is located in Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26 of Township 16N, Range 1E, Lincoln Township, Hendricks County, Indiana. The project will require approximately 3.55 acres of permanent right-of-way and 0.15 acres of temporary right-of-way. No business or residential relocations are proposed. The total estimated construction cost is $2,037,664, with 80 percent - $1,630,131 - of being funded by the Federal Highway Administration through the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization. Questions regarding the project may be directed to Jonathan Blake, AICP - the project manager - at jblake@brownsburgparks.com or via phone at 317-858-4172.
