PUBLIC NOTICE Ashland Independent Schools Non-Discrimination Policy Statement Students, their parents, employees, and potential employees of the Ashland Independent Schools are hereby notified that the Ashland Independent School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, marital status, sex, or disability in employment programs, vocational programs, or activities set forth in compliance with the Office of Civil Rights, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, ADA and Section 504. The Ashland Independent School District offers the following vocational education programs for students at Paul G. Blazer High School: Digital Literacy Foods & Nutrition Financial Literacy Culinary Arts I & II Multimedia Publishing Intro to Construction Microsoft Office Specialist Floor and Wall Framing Business Principles & Applications Site Layout and Foundations Web Page Design Ceiling and Roof Framing Accounting I Principles of Health Science Accounting II Medical Terminology Advanced Accounting Emerg. Proc. For Healthcare Prof. Business Management Dosage Calculations Cooperative Education Medicaid Nurse Aid Fund Eng. Design 1 Phlebotomy Fund Eng. Design 2 EKG Fund Arch. Design 3 Pharmacy Tech Intro to Man. Systems Intro to Eng. Design Foundations of Tech. CIM FACS Essentials/Health Principles of Engineering Early Lifespan Development Child Development Services 1&2 Adult Education classes are offered to individuals pursuing a GED certificate at the Adult Learning Center located at KCTCS. Adult programs are offered periodically based upon the demand for specific classes. The Ashland Independent School District will take steps to assure the lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in career and technical education programs.
