Application Form for Home Repairs
Our annual home repair/renovation program will take place Saturday, Oct 13 and 20, 2018. Teams of volunteers (volunteers and team leaders needed to serve) will perform repair work on homes that are designated as "Christmas in Action" projects per the fol- lowing guidelines:
• A home (mobile homes are excluded) must be occupied by the owner and located in Navarro County. • Each home renovation project will typically involve cleanup, painting, basic carpentry and minor plumbing repairs. Work is generally performed at no cost to the home owner. • Roof repairs or replacements to the extent possible will be performed by roofing contractors as directed by Christmas in Action. • Owner must be on minimum fixed income which will be verifiable.
Our resources may not permit us to perform extensive specialized work such as foundation leveling and major electrical repairs or installation.
Application must be received by Saturday, September 1, 2018
We will review all applications; verify home ownership, and home owner’s income. The repair request will then be made available to Team Leaders to select projects on Thursday, Sept. 20 and 27, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Corsicana. If you know of a deserving home owner or you are one whose residence will meet the above selection criteria, please submit the following information.
