NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Cullman, Alabama, will hold a public hearing on November 23rd, 2015 at 7:00 o’clock p.m. in the Lucille N. Galin Auditorium at City Hall, 204 Second Avenue NE, Cullman, Alabama 35055. At this time anyone wishing to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the adoption of Resolution No. 2016-07 (set forth in full below) will be given an opportunity to be heard. RESOLUTION NO. 2016 – 07 TO VACATE AND SURPLUS A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET WHEREAS, the City of Cullman is the owner of 6th Avenue SW from 4th Street SW to 3rd Street SW, WHEREAS, the Cullman City Council finds that this property is not needed for public or municipal purposes and has determined that it is in the interest of the public that such street or portion thereof be vacated; BE IT RESOLVED by the Cullman City Council that the portion of 6th Avenue SW from 4th Street SW to 3rd Street SW is hereby declared vacant and the Mayor is authorized to surplus and sell this property for its fair market value.
