CITY OF MOUNT VERNON REQUEST FOR DEMOLITION BIDS INVITATION TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk of Mt. Vernon, 1100 Main Street, Mount Vernon, Illinois 62864 until 10:00 AM local time on November 10, 2015, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work consists of the demolition of 9 residential structures. The contracted work will consist of one contract for all properties. The addresses of all properties are listed below: 1208 S. 26th Street, 714 Salem Road, 713 S. 21st Street, 1115 Herbert, 1206 S. 12th Street, 1214 S. 26th Street, 228 Opdyke, 1418 S. 12th Street, and 1516 Perkins Avenue ALL BUILDINGS LOCATED IN MOUNT VERNON, ILLINOIS Specifications may be obtained from Derrick J. Quitsch, City of Mt. Vernon Building Inspection Department, 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The City may reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid in connection with said project. The successful bidder shall be an equal opportunity employer.
