NOTICE Town of Butternuts Town Board will hold three Public Hearings on November 4, 2015, at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall, Gilbertsville, New York. Purpose of the 1st hearing is to review Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2015 A Local Law to Override the Tax the Tax Levy Limit Established in General Municipal Law 3-C. Purpose of the 2nd hearing is to review Proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2015 A Local Law Authorizing Best Value Competitive Bidding and Procurement Purpose of the 3rd hearing is to review the preliminary budget for fiscal year 2016. The preliminary budget and the two proposed local laws are available for inspection at the Town Clerk's Office during regular business hours or on the town website at www.townofbutternuts.org Pursuant to Section 113 of the Town law, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor $9,000 Town Clerk $9,000 Councilmen (4) each $1,200 Justice $5,500 Highway Supt. $41,904 Tax Collector $ 3,900.
