LEGAL NOTICE ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE EDMESTON FIRE DISTRICT ON DECEMBER 8, 2015 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Edmeston Fire District will take place on December 8, 2015 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the upper floor of the Edmeston Fire House located on East Street in the hamlet of Edmeston, New York for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2016 and ending December 31, 2020. Candidates for office shall have filed their names in writing with the Secretary of the Edmeston Fire District, at the address set forth below, no later than November 8, 2015. To be eligible to vote in the election, a person must be 18 years of age on the day of the election; a citizen of the United States, a resident of New York State, a resident Otsego County and the Fire District by November 8, 2015; and registered with the Otsego County Board of Elections on or before November 15, 2015.
