NOTICE OF THREE (3) PUBLIC HEARINGS IS HEREBY GIVEN. The Preliminary Budget for the Town of Maryland for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2016 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk. Schenevus-Maryland Firehouse, 40 Main Street, Schenevus, NY 12155, where it is available for inspection by any interested person. Further notice is hereby given the Town Board will meet and review said budget and hold three (3) public hearings at its next regular scheduled meeting to be held at the Schenevus-Maryland Fire House, 40 Main Street, Schenevus, NY 12155 on Monday November 2, 2015 at 6:30 P.M. Further notice is hereby given the Town Board will review as part of the 2016 budget the appropriation of $74,226.06 from the Town Highway Truck Reserve for the October 2016 lease-to-own payment. (The Town Attorney authorized the use of the truck reserves for payments as the Town will own the trucks) Further notice is hereby given the Town Board will be amending the March 2010 resolution establishing a Truck Reserve Fund. The addendum will change the purchase from one to two trucks and increase the estimated maximum cost from $180,000 to $352,256 for both trucks. At such hearings any person may be heard in favor or against any items in the Preliminary Budget.
