162-11/4,11,18 2015 The Vermilion County Workforce Investment Board (VCWIB) and the Vermilion County Works (VCW) program will release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for those interested in being a Year-Round Youth Program Provider for the Local Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program, January 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017. The Vermilion County Youth Program Request for Proposal will be released to the public Nov. 6, 2015. All proposal requests must be submitted to Vermilion County Works, 407 N. Franklin St., Danville, IL 61832 on Friday, December, 11 2015 by 4:00 pm. Bidders' conferences will be held at the Workforce Development Center (WDC), 407 N. Franklin St., Danville, IL 61832 on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm or Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 9:00am - 11:00am by appointment only. In addition, VCWIB and the VCW are modifying the budget for the Local Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for Program Year 2015-2016. The modification will transfer more funds into our work based learning employer services. The WIOA program Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker budget is open for public comment for 30 days. The modification will be submitted to DCEO no later than December 18, 2015.
