PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Weatherford is seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) for qualified electric substation material aggregators which are invited to submit a proposal to purchase and fabricate all substation-specific materials required for a third party-contractor to safely and successfully construct a new two transformer, 8 feeder, 138 kV to 12.47 kV electric substation, to include all necessary appurtenant devices, structures, bus work, insulators, connectors, and fittings in accordance with referenced plans. The RFP must be clearly marked RFP 2016-006, WEST LOOP SUBSTATION MATERIALS. The RFP must be sealed and mailed to the Chief Financial Officer, located at 303 Palo Pinto, Weatherford, Texas, 76086. This RFP must be received by 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at which time the RFP will be publicly opened and the names will be read aloud in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 303 Palo Pinto Street, Weatherford, Texas, 76086.
