ATHENS STATE UNIVERSITY NOTICE OF SEALED BID PUBLIC SALE Athens State University will accept sealed bids in its Physical Plant Office located in the Maintenance Building at 527 East Hobbs Street, Athens, Alabama 35611, until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2015, for the items described below. All bids submitted must be in writing on the prescribed form. Forms for bidding may be obtained from the Physical Plant Office during regular business hours from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked BID ON SURPLUS PROPERTY on the outside of the envelope and turned in to the Physical Plant Office by 1:00 p.m. on Monday December 14, 2015. The items are located at the Maintenance Building of Athens State University, 527 East Hobbs Street, Athens, Alabama, and shall be available for public inspection beginning Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Inspection dates and times are December 2-4, 2015; 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., December 7-11, 2015; 8:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. and December 14, 2015; 7:00 a.m. - noon. The surplus property is being sold AS IS WHERE IS without express or implied warranties for cash or an acceptable check only. Athens State University must receive full payment within ten working days after successful bidder has been notified. The removal of the item is the responsibility of the successful bidder and must be completed within ten (10) working days following receipt of payment. Failure to submit payment or remove the item as required may result in the rejection of bid and possible acceptance of the next highest acceptable bidder.
