(First Published December 6, 2015) ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ-2016-01 FOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER SERVICES Proposals will be accepted by the City of Joplin - Department of Planning, Community Development and Neighborhood Services, at 602 S. Main Street, 4th Floor, Joplin, MO 64801 until 5 pm, CST, on JANUARY 4, 2016. Packets must be clearly marked for the "Structural Engineering Services #2016-RFQ-01, Attn: Jeff Oliver." Email packets will not be accepted. Notice to Respondents The City of Joplin will be selecting the consultant based on their qualifications of the structural engineer/project manager for roof repair, and/or rehabilitation to include environmental remediation and securing the structure for 502 Virginia Ave. Please include past experience of the firm, available resources to complete the project, professional references and responsiveness to the RFQ. The consultant shall submit with this RFQ the name and experience of any proposed sub-consultants. Consultants should submit two copies of their qualifications and experience and one electronic form on digital flash drive or compact disc to the City of Joplin Building Division, 602 S. Main St., ATTN. Jeff Oliver, no later than 5 PM on January 4, 2016. Phone calls to other city staff will not be accepted and respondents may not inquire or lobby city staff or leaders during the open period. Note: All labor shall be paid no less than Missouri Prevailing Wage in accordance with the Federal Davis-Bacon Act (Title 40 U.S.C. Chapter 31, subchapter IV), for heavy construction projects or whichever is higher. Successful Respondent must be registered with SAM.Gov and may not be disbarred from receiving federal funds.
