LEGAL NOTICE Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll&Warrant PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I, Kay A. Freling, the undersigned Collector of Taxes for the Town of Maryland, County of Otsego and State of New York, have received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the Collection of Taxes within the Town of Maryland for the year 2016, and will attend at the Town Clerk's Office, at the Schenevus-Maryland Firehouse, 40 Main St, Schenevus, NY, in said Town of Maryland, from January 4 to January 30, 2016 on Mondays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesdays 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. And, for the months of February 1 through April 31, 2016 Mondays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesdays 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2016 WITHOUT PENALTY. On all remaining unpaid taxes 1% will be added each month or fraction thereof until the return of unpaid taxes is made by the collector on May 1st, 2016 to the County Treasurer pursuant to law.
