ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID F & O Architects LLC and the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office will receive Bids from qualified General Contractors for the construction of the Cullman County Sheriff’s Training Facility, Beech Avenue SE, Cullman, Alabama until 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Conference Room of the F & O Architects, 301 3rd Avenue SE, Cullman, Alabama. The Project consists of the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building with offices, meeting room, storage rooms, covered vehicular storage area, and interior finishes, approximately 3200 gross square feet enclosed and 2400 square feet covered. The Contractor shall include all requires sales use Taxes in the Base Bid amount. All Contractors shall be required to be enrolled in the E-Verify (Employee Eligibility Verification) program for this Project. A Bid Bond or a certified check payable to the Cullman County Commission in the amount of five percent of the amount of the Bid but not exceeding $10,000.00, must accompany the Bidder's Proposal. Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in the amount of one-hundred percent of the Contract Price will be required at the signing of the Contract. Electronic files of the Drawings can be obtained beginning Wednesday, February 3, 2016 by email request to frank@foarchitects.com. Printed drawing sets are available from Cullman Quick Copy, 202 1st Avenue SE, Suite E, 256 739 0699, for the cost of reproduction. No partial sets will be available. All subcontractors must obtain bid documents from a qualified General Contractor. Bidding requirements will be issued in the Project Manual. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of forty-five days. Only Bids submitted by qualified General Contractors licensed as required by applicable Federal, State and Local laws will be considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive formalities and technicalities.
