NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE MT. VERNON AIRPORT AUTHORITY, JEFFERSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS TO SELL $660,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION AIRPORT BONDS PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mt. Vernon Airport Authority, Jefferson County, Illinois (the Authority), will hold a public hearing on the 2nd day of February, 2016, at 6:00 oclock P.M. The hearing will be held at the Mt. Vernon Airport Authority, Koziara Terminal, 100 Aviation Drive, Mt. Vernon, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds of the Authority in the amount of $660,000 for the purpose of constructing airport improvements at the Mt. Vernon Outland Airport, including, without limitation, the following: a new T hangar, runway and taxiway improvements, Innovation Park improvements, equipment acquisition and signage replacement.
