CITY OF CLINTON ORDINANCE NO. 2533 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA BY AMENDING CHAPTER 32, SECTION 601 MEMBERSHIP OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLANNING COMMITTEE Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend Chapter 32, Section 601 to create a new position on the Capital Improvements Planning Committee for a representative of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Section 2. Amendment. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, is amended to add the following position to 32.601 (A) Membership: 6) Convention and Visitors Bureau one member Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid of unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. Repealer. Any ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 5. When Effective. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval, and publication as provided by law. MAYOR ATTEST: Pat Van Loo, City Clerk Adopted: January 26, 2016 Published: February 1, 2016. ---- CITY OF CLINTON CHAPTER NO. 2532 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 159, ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF LOTS 1 AND 14 IN BLOCK 3 OF CURTIS AND LESLIES ADDITION AND BLOCKS 1 AND 2 OF LAMBERTSONS SUBDIVISION FROM R-1C, ONE FAMILY DISTRICT, TO R-4, RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA: Section 1. Amendment. Chapter 159 of the Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, classifying real estate described as Lots 1 and 14 in Block 3 of Curtis and Leslies Addition and Blocks 1 and 2 of Lambertsons Subdivsion, which is subject to easements of record is hereby amended so that said real estate is classified in the R-4, Residential District. Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
