Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Cities Public Works Department or copies thereof. BID Bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make such bonds in the State of Alabama or a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) payable to the OWNER, must accompany each bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount, will be required of the successful Bidder.
