RELIEF SOUGHT:EXCEPTION TO OCC-OGR RULE 165:10-5-6 LEGAL DESCRIPTION: EAST VELMA MIDDLE BLOCK SIMS SAND UNIT #259 WELL IN SE/4 NW/4 SE/4 OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 2 SOUTH, RANGE 4 WEST, STEPHENS COUNTY, OKLAHOMA Cause PD No. 201600025 NOTICE OF HEARING STATE OF OKLAHOMA: To BP America Production Company, L. E. Jones Operating, Inc. and Nub's Well Servicing Inc., all of the above if in existence, and if not in existence, then their unknown trustees, successors and assigns, immediate and remote, all persons, owners, producers, operators, purchasers and takers of oil and gas, and all other interested persons, particularly in Stephens County, Oklahoma. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Applicant is requesting that the Commission grant an exception to OCC-OGR Rule No. 165:10-5-6 insofar as same requires a mechanical integrity test of the East Velma Middle Block Sims Sand Unit #259 well as an injection well by allowing said well to inject into the Sims Sand as authorized by Order No. 449470 as long as said well passes a mechanical integrity test of that portion of the well bore above the upper packer at 4590 feet and passes a radioactive tracer survey for water injected into the Sims Sand common source of supply below a lower packer set at a depth of 6653 feet, and possibly making the Order effective on some date prior to the entry of the final order. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Applicant is requesting the following special relief: Possibly providing that said Order be made effective on some date prior to the entry of the final order. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Applicant and interested parties may present testimony by telephone. The cost of telephonic communication shall be paid by the person or persons requesting its use. Interested parties who wish to participate by telephone shall contact the Applicant or Applicant's attorney, prior to the hearing date, and provide their name and phone number. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this Cause will be set before an Administrative Law Judge on the Initial Hearing Docket on the First Floor, Jim Thorpe Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 8:30 a.m. on the 4th day of March, 2016, and that this Notice be published as required by law and the Rules of the Commission. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that all interested persons may appear and be heard.
