NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY Finding of No Significant Impact FM 1570 from SH 66 to US 380 in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas CSJ: 0901-22-103 This notice is to advise the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed improvements to FM 1570 from SH 66 to US 380 in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas. The proposed project would take place on a new location that would extend FM 1570 from the existing FM 1570/SH 66 intersection to US 380 Southwest of Greenville. The proposed project would provide two 12-foot wide travel lanes with ten-foot outside paved shoulders within an approximate 264-foot wide right-of-way (ROW) with provision for future expansion to an ultimate four lane divided highway. Also, construction would include a bridge over Block Branch. All intersections would be constructed at grade with provision for future grade separations over SH 66 and US 380. Proposed FM 1570 would require approximately 70 acres of ROW. A small amount of required ROW is publicly owned, principally County Road (CR) 2108, but almost all ROW would be acquired from nine land owners, seven of whom are individuals. Almost all required ROW is agricultural use. No residential or commercial displacements will be required. Copies of the FONSI, the Public Hearing Documentation, and the approved Environmental Assessment (EA), for this project are available for public inspection and reproduction at the TxDOT Paris District Office, located at 1365 North Main Street in Paris, Texas 75460. If you should have questions or need additional information on this project, please contact Mr. Syd Newman, P.E., at 903-737-9285. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
