ADVERTISEMENT 2015 PAVING PROJECT NEW WILMINGTON BOROUGH, LAWRENCE CO. The Borough of New Wilmington hereby invites sealed written bids for the 2015 Paving Project in the Borough. Bids must be upon the forms furnished by Frank B. Taylor Engineering. Bid forms can be obtained at the office of Frank B. Taylor Engineering, 149 Taylor Drive, New Castle, PA 16101. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Borough of New Wilmington. All bids must be submitted in an envelope sealed and plainly marked “2015 Paving Project” and must be mailed or delivered to the New Wilmington Borough Office, 134 High Street, New Wilmington, PA 16142, by August 10, 2015, no later than 3:30 PM. Bids will be opened and read at a special meeting of the New Wilmington Borough Council on August 10, 2015 at 6:30 PM, at the New Wilmington Borough Office, 134 High Street, New Wilmington, PA 16142. The Borough of New Wilmington reserves the right to accept any bid, which in their judgment may prove to be in the best interest of the taxpayer, and also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in, or reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates shall be used on this project. New Wilmington Borough Legal: July 22, 25, 2015 UNION AREA SCHOOL BOARD REQUEST FOR GENERATOR REPLACEMENT The Union Area School Board is accepting sealed bids for the 2015-16 school year for the replacement of a generator located in the MS/HS Building. All sealed bids should be returned to Mr. Michael Ross, Superintendent, at 2016 Camden Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101 by 3:00 PM on August 17, 2015. Bid Specifications can be obtained at the Superintendent's office or by phone 724-658-4775 x. 2301. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Legal: July 25, 29, 31, 2015, August 5, 12, 2015 UNION AREA SCHOOL BOARD CEMENT & SIDEWALKS REPAIRS The Union Area Board is accepting sealed bids for the 2015-16 school year for cement and sidewalk repairs. All sealed bids should be returned to Mr. Michael Ross, Superintendent, at 2106 Camden Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101 by 3:00 PM on August 17, 2015.
