(First Published December 14, 2015) In accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, notice is hereby given that there will be an election on April 5, 2016 to elect the following officers: One Board member from Sub-District #2 and Sub District #4 for a term of three years. Opening filing date is December 15, 2015 to January 19, 2016. Normal office hours Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will apply for the filing period. Persons wishing to file for the above office must file in person with the clerk at Jasper County Rural Water District #1 office at 5061 Co. Rd. 290, Joplin, Mo., prior to 3:30 CST, January 19, 2016. Persons filing must certify to the clerk at the time of filing, that they are qualified to seek and hold the office for which they are filing. Preferences will be given to applicants from these sub-divisions. (313)
