TOWN OF RICHFIELD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON FIRE/AMBULANCE PROTECTION CONTRACT TOWN OF RICHFIELD LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the General Municipal Law of the State of New York, the Town Board of the Town of Richfield will hold a public hearing at the Town Offices, 18 East James Street, Richfield Springs, New York, to hear all interested parties and citizens for or against the 2016 proposed fire/ambulance protection contract on the 18th day of January, 2016, at 6:00 PM. The service to be furnished is fire protection and emergency service in case of fire, accident, calamities or other emergencies. Such service shall be provided by the Richfield Springs Volunteer Fire Department, its volunteer firemen and emergency and first aid squads, within the geographic confines the Town of Richfield. All persons residing in the Town of Richfield, or owning property in the Town of Richfield, or whose business interests or employment would either be benefited or adversely affected (whether or not a resident or owner of real property in the Town of Richfield) shall have a right to be heard in person or by representative.
